Van Dijk Designs creates a variety of one of a kind project bags, totes, yarn bowls and baskets, unique knitting notions and organizers for all your project needs. Van Dijk Designs is owned and operated by me, Carolyn Van Dijk. I sew all the items available for sale from my home studio. I strive for quality not quantity. Each item is carefully sewn to last.

With a background in design, I source premium designer fabrics, mixing textures, colours and patterns to create custom styles. Drawing inspiration from my passion to knit and sew, each piece is carefully made for function and style. All designs are tested by me.

Many of the sourced fabrics are interior designer samples that are headed to the landfill. The thought of seeing these gorgeous fabrics tossed away was my inspiration to begin designing product to make them useful.
